Mike Schlosser is a Juno-nominated producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer. His production career started in 2008 with the Curtis Santiago "Have Mercy Mixtape". Utilizing a production style that combined his love of many different genres and influences from Indie to Metal, and Folk to Hip Hop, the mixtape was downloaded over 50,000 times and generated several SXSW showcases as well as a feature artist spot in the "New Music Conference" at Cleveland's Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.
In 2009 Mike took an assistant position with multiple Juno award winning producer and mixing engineer Timothy Abraham and assisted on recordings for Rob Szabo, Peter Katz, and Valerie Gore.
In 2014 Mike produced and mixed the album “The Vulture” for Iranian indie rock icon King Raam who Vanity Fair proclaimed “the godfather of Iranian indie rock”. In 2015 Mike was nominated for a West Coast Music Award for his work on Edmonton based electronic artist BMBSHL’s debut album “BMBSHL CMD". In 2016, Polish TV show “Must Be The Music” featured a performance of the Schlosser co-written “Shockwaves” by Anna Cyzon live to over 2 million live viewers. The song went on to win the polish based Carpathia International Song Festival. In 2018 Mike’s work was nominated for several awards culminating in a Juno nomination for best electronic album for the iamhill’s “Give It A Rest”.
Mike currently works out of Soleil Sound in Toronto, Canada.
